It snowed most of yesterday then got cold and windy. There were snow drifts all over this morning. I had to take the four wheeler down to water and feed the animals. It seemed like it needed a good warm up so I ran it around the pasture for a while. Snow drifts are fun.
It was sunny out for a while so I got a few bright pictures. It was quite cold, around 15 degrees or so, but it was a dry cold.
The pond is at the lower left in this picture. It has ice and snow on it.
We got a couple of round bales from Nelson Francis from across the road. They seem to like it okay.
Those are great pictures. The round hay bales look huge compared to the other type. It was great talking to you today.
ReplyDeleteNelson said the round bales weigh between 1000 and 1500 pounds. The rectangular bales are about 75 pounds. Even Heidi will have trouble moving the hay rack now.
