Chicken Mansion

We have been working on the hen house. Soon the chickens will be moving in! It will be so nice to have them out of the barn.

DSCF3890 The barred rocks are growing nicely.

DSCF3884 No eggs from the rocks yet. The reds are earning their keep, we’re getting about 15 eggs a week out of the three. We keep telling the rocks that they look tasty so if they want to stay out of the freezer they need to start producing.

    You are making great progress on the coop. Are you going to paint little pictures of chickens on the outside? :-)
