We were talking to Carl and Brenda about fencing. They were the nice couple who found Luna when she went on her little excursion, and have lived in the area for more than twenty years. Lisa said, "It sure will be nice when we have all the fencing done and we can just sit on the porch and look out over the finished product and enjoy." Carl got a knowing grin on his face and Brenda just chuckled quietly. I don't remember Carl's exact words but it was something like "Fencing is never finished, it seems like I get to the end of it about the time I have to start up again on replacing it from the other end." I think Lisa would have cried if she wasn't so happy about getting Luna back.
Andy came over on Saturday and he and Barry helped dig post holes. We had to go through the hollow and around the big tree but we got finished in good time. The weather was nice, about 80 degrees and low humidity. The ground is really dry so we'll have to move fast on setting the posts. The excavated earth is loose and tends to slide back in the holes. We don't like digging the same hole twice.
We got most of the way to where the transition for the wide turn around area is going to be. We dug 23 holes 36" deep and didn't hit a single rock. I don't know how that happened but I'm not complaining.
There were video games to be played while Barry was here.
These next two photos were taken by Davina when she was here a couple of weeks ago. She got some really nice shots.
