Flower boxes, drainage, heifer, ewe and gravel.
I had to dig out the gravel so the flower boxes would sit level.
This is the first one. The other one is uphill from it. They both have dirt in them.
Hoshi the heifer. She is the other one Nelson found for Lisa.
We moved Ivy's habitat. The vet said to try and keep her isolated for at least another week to prevent her parasites from spreading to the rest of the herd. She has the whole tractor port for shade and some grass for grazing. She can also get to the old bale of hay. Lisa locks her in the trailer at night since she doesn't have a llama to guard her.
We dug out along the sides of the slab and along the garage.
Lisa tunneled under the conduit.
1.5 tons of gravel on a 1/2 ton truck.
We got about half of the gravel in before it got dark.
The perforated drainage tile is getting hard to find here in the 10' sections. We only had enough to get about half way along the side of the garage. We snubbed it out and put an end cap on it so the critters would stay out.
I think Lady wanted to herd Ivy.
Paige.
The flower boxes look wonderful! Can't wait to see them full of fall flowers. Yeesh, is it almost fall?
ReplyDeleteWas Paige guarding the drainage tile? She looks really fierce.
Hi Paige, Hi Piper, Hi Lady!
Paige was just barking at me for taking pictures. She was in mid-bark and wouldn't get out of the way when I was trying to get a shot of the tile.
DeleteSo, how did the flower boxes turn out?
