Stove In

The furnace guys came to install the wood burning stove today.

They put down drop cloths to protect the floor. The flat box has the hearth board in it.

Lisa made a fort out of the boxes of materials. The guys made me run her off so they could get to work.

I told Jason to smile to my blog followers.

Jason, you're doing it wrong. (Smiling that is, nothing wrong with his stove installing skills.)

If only there was something to lay on the hearth board to protect it from the debris falling from the ceiling. Wait, this piece of cardboard might work.

Jason in the sky with blown insulation.

The chimney. The supports are for the off chance we get any strong wind.

Stove pipe assembly underway. How many flowers can you see on this man's shirt?

They cleaned everything up and gave us an instructional presentation on what to do (and not to do) with our new stove. Now we can't wait for it to get cold again!

 Cats are silly.

I made a box to raise Barbara's recliner. Now she can sit and look out the window and safely get up and down.

Lisa washed Nell's bed. Nell quickly showed her appreciation. Okay, "quickly" might not be the correct adjective for anything Nell does anymore.

Leo followed Nell and me on our walk. He doesn't usually go this far. At least, I didn't think he went this far. He seemed a little nervous when the llamas ran up on him.

He followed us back up. Leo likes Nell.

How many dogs can you see in this picture?
