We lost Lenny last Friday. He was an older cat when he came to live with us. We are glad that he could live his final years with us. He will be missed.
We were still in Florida when we found him at the humane society there. We weren't looking for a cat at the time but were dropping off some donations. We just happened to take a walk through the cat room and there was Lenny.
He didn't mind the dogs. He didn't really pay much attention to them at all.
He came with us to Kentucky. He rode with me in the U-haul truck.
"I'm cute, dammit."
Lenny liked to act like a cat. The cat/computer thing was one of his favorite cat cliches.
He would often pretend to ignore the dogs.
Sometimes Lenny would let me sit in his chair.
I work from home, Lenny helped.
He was good at testing new shelves for proper load bearing capacity.
It's hard work being a cat.
Sleeping kitty.
On the computer.
On the computer.
Eating Dustin's rock candy.
Ron Jon's dog was terrified of Lenny.
Just a cat in a sunbeam.
Just a cat and a birdcage. Lenny's "Sylvester" act.
Just a cat high up on a cabinet.
Just a cat in a recycle bin.
Just a cat and a mouse.
Lenny got to go outside from time to time.
Lenny ignoring treats. One does not simply snatch a treat out of someone's hand.
RIP Lenny !! You will be missed.
