Bill Carver from Bowling Green came up last night and picked up Paddy. It went amazingly well. We were expecting to be bruised and bloody. We got him in the catch pen and I grabbed him around the neck while Bill got two lead ropes on his halter. Next, Lisa and I walked Paddy out while Bill opened gates. He got up in the trailer and pulled while Lisa and I pushed. After Lisa lifted his feet onto the trailer deck he stepped right up. It was dark and raining but at least it had got quite a bit warmer. It was near 70 today. Which is nice except that all the mud has thawed.
Now Bonnie is in with Speedy and Martha is in with Dolly. Lisa was trying to coax Martha into the barnyard. She never went in so she'll be sleeping alone out in the pasture tonight. She'll figure it out eventually.
We are well stocked in the llama department.
Lisa was shaking a feed bucket. Everyone was taking notice.
Glad all the llama drama is settled.
