Clark Energy still hasn't got around to fixing our power problem. We hate them. The generator is running all day but we shut it off at night. All our perishables are out in the garage freezer. At night it stays cold enough to keep them frozen. We aren't keeping lunch meat, I'd kill for a ham sandwich! :) It warmed up on Sunday so a lot of the ice melted. We were able to get the van all the way up the hill. It's better to be able to walk outside and get in the cars without trudging through the snow and slipping on the ice for 800 feet uphill, both ways. I exchanged one of our empty propane cylinders for a full one. The propane space heater has been great. It's keeping the family room at a toasty 56 most of the time. We turn it off at night too so it's a little chilly out there in the mornings. Piper is the only one that doesn't realize that there is fire in it and she gets a little close to it sometimes. She hasn't burst into flames but we smell the burned fur. Lisa thinks she forgets where her back end is like when she does the jumps.
We're getting new snow today. At least it's pretty to look at.
Hang in there, guys. Spring is coming.
ReplyDeleteYou guys still have not sent the snow!!! I undated my blog with more pictures of Noel. Just in case you guys are interested.
ReplyDeleteThinking of a nickname as Andy suggested, what about Clown Energy? It sounds like there are a lot of clowns working there! They had better take care of my little brother or else!
ReplyDeleteDad's right. There will be warmer weather soon.
