Finally!

The power came back on yesterday morning. After about two hours it went off again. Lisa called them up and they came back out in the evening to fix it. There was a breaker on the power meter pole that had tripped. All is back to normal now. It's warm in the house and we have hot water. It got warm too so all the ice is melting and turning to mud. I'll start taking pictures again now that I'm not wearing gloves 24 hours a day.

    I am SO happy for you guys! I can't imagine how rough it must have been to go that long without power in the "barbaric" cold!

    I am so glad you guys finally got the power back on!!! The longest we have ever been with out power was 3 or 4 days.

    How long did you take showers in the divine hot water?

    I'm amazed that the cold lasted that long. And we're in a heat wave farther north. Here, we'll send our heat down that way (We're at 40 degrees!)
