The wild turkey flock showed up at the pond to drink. We haven’t seen this many near our house before. Its been so dry all the usual ponds are drying up. This is the one behind us, it and ours are spring fed and have water in them all the time. They are lower than usual but most of the run-off ponds are dry.
The lambs are doing well. They’ll be heading down to the pasture with their moms this weekend.
The barred rocks are getting big. We hope to have the hen house finished by the time they start laying.
Are those turkeys going to be around for Thanksgiving? The ponds look beautiful.
