Again , Still No Power

No overnight miracles got our power on. We did get the family room up to 55 last night with the propane heater. It was nice in there! We shut the generator and propane down for the night and bundled up to sleep. We have all of our blankets on the bed so we were okay. It was back to 43 inside this morning. The power company has been putting restoration news on their website . This morning it said they were finished with the substations and critical systems like water treatment and said:
Clark County – Donaldson, Hwy. 60, Goshen Road, Sewell Shop, Old Ruckerville, Hwy. 89, White-Conkwright, Stoner-Ephesus, Flanagan Station, Two Mile/Cole Road area

We're between Donaldson and Sewell Shop so maybe soon!

This morning after I walked down to the van to go to work. We got another 2-3 inches of snow last night. The ice coated trees didn't need the extra weight.

Our road this morning on the way in to Lexington. It took longer than usual to get to work .

This is the driveway to IBM this morning and the Frisbee golf course. No one was playing Frisbee golf.

Another icy tree and the walkway to the office from the parking lot. Nice that they cleared and salted it.

  2. These are the things that make life interesting. Sometimes we wish it wasn't so interesting. Take care!

Do you want some of our warm air from Arizona? It's supposed to be up to 76 today.

  4. Stay warm, it'll be back before you know it! I'd offer the horse blankets to wrap things up in, but they wouldn't get there fast enough to help you.
