Andy got up on Bahloo today. She was good. She hadn't thrown him by the time I went back inside. Heidi and Sundown were both fascinated by the whole thing.
aww, gotta just get on her bareback, she looks soo laid back. i know the seat's an 18" but i'm not sure of the gullet size. I knew it fit lindy, pheonix, starbuck and jody (All different size and breeds of horses- Belgian, appy, QH, and tb mutt) so it ought ot have fit bahloo too. I'll ask the girl i got the saddle from see what she knows. I do know she bought it off ebay for $125. Daring would be bareback with nothing-no pad notta. that sounds like fun. Dad as for the pad, that small strap that's clipped onto that front girth, the loop on it is to hold that back girth forward, you don't want that back girth movign backwards, they do also call it a bucking girth(Latigo, back girth) for a reason :)
how'd that saddle seem to fit on her? not to big, not too small?
ReplyDeleteIt seemed to be just right. We had some issues with the knot in the cinch strap, but it held. Lisa couldn't remember how to do it.
