The New Guy

We went down to Jessamine County and picked up an Angus Steer calf today. He was listed on craigslist.org so we went in on him with Andy. His name is Larry and he's about 200-250 pounds.

Can you tell which side of the trailer he rode in?
He looks delicious. He should be ready around October next year, according to the cattle men at the farm. He'll get to around 800-900 lbs with about 50% edible meat. So it looks like Thanksgiving 2010 will be Larry pot roasts.
